Our take
Hotel Balcones del Estadio is a practical base for travelers attending a match, concert, or event around Atanasio Girardot. The location also gives visitors relatively direct access to the metro, La Macarena, central Medellín, Laureles, and Parques del Río. Its room mix works for solo travelers, couples, and small groups, but the simpler facilities are different from a full-service hotel with air conditioning, a gym, or guaranteed on-site parking. Cielo Abierto Gastrobar operates on the rooftop and is open to hotel guests and the public.
