How to read the result

Reference rate
The calculator gives a market reference, not a promise from a bank or card issuer. USD is anchored to the latest available official TRM. Other currencies use the same live market feed, converted through COP.
Rate received
Cards, ATMs, banks, and exchange counters can add a spread or fee. Compare the final COP delivered or the final foreign-currency charge. A low stated fee can sit beside a poor rate.
Large transfers
For property and other large payments, ask the sending and receiving institutions about documents before moving funds. A calculator cannot determine the correct Colombian foreign-exchange registration for a specific transaction.
