- How were the salons & barbers on this list selected?
- This category has no dedicated national registry, so the filter is reputational: we only publish operating businesses holding a Google rating of 4.3 or higher across at least 15 reviews. For significant contracts, also ask for the business's Cámara de Comercio certificate.
- How many salons & barbers in Santa Marta does this directory cover?
- 28 published profiles. Together they hold an average 4.8 Google rating across 5,398 reviews.
- How are the businesses ordered?
- Featured and founding partner profiles appear first; remaining profiles are ordered by Google reputation (rating and review volume). Partner status can affect placement, but not official-registry status or the Google rating.
- How current are the hours, phone numbers, and ratings?
- Google data (rating, reviews, hours, and contact details) is re-synced roughly every 28 days, and the RNT and REPS registries are re-ingested twice a month. A business that closes—or loses a registration required for its category—drops off the list in the next cycle.
- I run a business in Santa Marta — can I update my profile?
- Yes. Claiming a profile is free: verify you own the business and you can correct photos, services, languages, and contact details. Businesses not yet listed can apply through the same claim flow.
